Event History
Straight from the Vineyards in McLaren Vale this event has become a rite of passage and a renowned event of McLaren Vale.

Each year when vintage was finished, the winemakers would host their own long lunch to celebrate another harvest over, however the vineyard hands were never invited, so they took matters into their own hands and hosted their own 'Not the Winemakers Lunch' where they would bring their best wines and score the best wines amongst their peers.

Our Red Winemaker, Phil Christiansen (known as the Silver Fox of McLaren Vale) was one of the founding members of this lunch and still to this day each year the lunch is the biggest event in the calendar each year.

We have the privilege of bringing such a sacred event to Brisbane and transporting you straight to the vineyards of South Australia.
