*How will your palate stand up against the rest? Can you pick the best wine of the day? You will be the judge in the blind wine tasting of 10 unique McLaren Vale wines, straight from the vineyards and winemakers themselves. These wines you can't get in the bottle shops!

Event History
Direct from the Vineyards in McLaren Vale this event has become a rite of passage and a renowned event of McLaren Vale.

Each year when the vintage was finished, the winemakers would host their own long lunch to celebrate another harvest over, however the vineyard hands were never invited, so they took matters into their own hands and hosted their own 'Not the Winemakers Lunch' where they would bring their best wines and score the best wines amongst their peers.

Téssera Wines red winemaker, Phil Christiansen (known as the Silver Fox of McLaren Vale) was one of the founding members of this lunch and still to this day each year the lunch is the biggest event in the calendar each year.

Téssera Wines have the privilege of bringing such a sacred event to Perth and transporting you straight to the vineyards of South Australia complemented by Tonic & Ginger's renown feed-me menu .
